Let’s just get down to business. Truth to say, I am not that much impressed by the new smartphone from Sharp called the IS01. But hey, I am not such a coldhearted techie that I can’t appreciate the specifications of this phone.

The new Sharp ISO1 is being powered by a Snapdragon processor, and runs on Android 1.6. It measures about 83 × 149 × 17.9mm and weighs about 227 grams. It has a full QWERTY keyboard, multi-touch capacitive touchscreen with a 960 x 480 pixel resolution, 5.27-megapixel camera with auto focus and a 0.43-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.

Samsung has just released their latest Android phone—the Samsung Galaxy S, which is a sleek-looking and clean cut device that is perfect for professionals, as well as for students.

This phone packs a 1GHz processor and 4-inch AMOLED screen display with the amazing features of an Android system. It also has advanced location-based services and the Layer Reality browser that will allow for augmented reality content. It also has the Android 2.1 system, a 5MP camera, 720p HD playback and up to 16GB of onboard storage.

No pricing and release date has been announced yet for the Samsung Galaxy S, so stay tuned for more details on this smartphone.

Landline phones may not be that popular nowadays, but you must admit that it still has its advantage. And if I will ever install one in my house that I will actually use, I would like it to be this DSP Multimedia Handset that runs on Android and has a touchscreen display.

It also has WiFi connectivity and of course the Android system that would allow you to read your mail, surf the Web, listen to music, talk with Google Voice, or use any Android apps with the device’s 3.5-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display. It also has accelerometers, so you can play games.

The new Motorola Devour looks and functions slightly like the Motoblur. They aren’t though part of the Droid line, so better wake up from the dream and hear these specs.

For now, what we know is that this new smartphone will come with a touch-sensitive navigation pad, a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, preloaded applications like Gmail, Google Talk, YouTube, Google Search and Google Maps with Google Maps Navigation, social network and business sites and an 8GB micro SD card.

The Motorola Shadow is rumored to be a dead ringer for the Google Nexus One. Aside from having almost the same specs, the only difference this one has is that it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard underneath.

This device got a 4.3-inch display screen with 480 x 854 resolution and color transflective TFT. It is powered by Google Android 2.1 with a 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM capacity.
