iPad Camera Connector Is Like Its Predecessor For iPod

Since the much-awaited iPad is slated to come out this April 3, Apple has finally also announced the new camera connector for its new baby. The iPad camera connection kit is now available for pre-order and, I must say, it looks exactly like the five-year-old camera connector for the iPod Classic.

The kit has two dongles inside that can hook into the iPad’s dock port. The other one has an SD card reader at the end while the second one as a plain USB port wherein you can plug the camera directly.

It supports RAW format for photos, but until Apple published a list of RAW camera the iPad supports, I suggest…

iMacs Can Outperform Mac Pros

It’s not often you see Apple’s Mac Pros being used as a personal computer. The high-end desktop from Apple is not exactly cheap and not exactly for home use. But the arrival of the new iMac may soon change that. If Apple does not upgrade the Mac Pro, it may find itself in the dustbin after the speedy iMac wowed office bosses.

The iMac has a 2.8-GHz Core i7 processor (one of the newest Intel chips using the Nehalem micro-architecture) and a 27-inch LCD display. It is considerably faster than the two Mac Pros out in the market— a quad-core 2.66-GHz model and an eight-core 2.26-GHz version.

Of course, there’s a difference…
